Jason Rubero: Music

God (1999)

Love the lyrics and vibe here. Heavy, heavy use of wah-wah on my electric guitar, along with with stereo organ tracks, guitar harmonics, and a haunting viola part. I like the distant piano elements, too.

The wah is probably a bit much, but I'm sticking with the dreamy atmosphere...
So here I am
Once again I'm sinking
While the great insurgency is growing

Your sky wire
Offending all our darkness
Like scattered crows across the sky

The rich regard your power as suspect
And the poor think that your love is just a figment
A telegram refused
We got your letter but it's so misused

But I believe in You
