Kind of a modern take on psychedelia.... as though Radiohead was suddenly teleported back to late 1966. It was fun chopping up the vocals and guitars into pieces to be glitched, spun around, rearranged, looped, and manipulated with all kinds of sonic treatments.
Thematically, the lyrics paint a serene picture of being with someone special, where time seems to stand still and worries fade away. The metaphor of wearing a 'crown of waves' and 'forest of hair' symbolizes the beauty and uniqueness of the person being described, while 'scatter your wolves afield' suggests letting go of fears and hoping this person finds healing from past trauma.
