From the recording 1990's misc
My brother, John, helped me with this one. He flew over from Seattle to Calgary and we had an all-night recording session in late November. It was wonderfully exhausting... In all truth, I think we romanticized the 'all night' session because our earliest musical heroes - The Beatles - broke that new ground in the mid 60's.
Anyway, with him, John brought some kind of ethnic stringed instrument called a 'Bandouria'. You can hear this played throughout the track, and it's slightly out-of-tune character makes this song a little creepy. Right on.
I also like the chord structure and the interesting use of the e-Bow electric guitar bits at the end.
