Kind of inspired by Dear 23, The Posies' major labor release from 1990 (perhaps the song 'Mr. Green'?)
A bit of psychedelic guitar pop. Never *quite* came together the way I envisioned it, but I do like the staccato middle-8, some of the guitar tones, and little details like the reverb-piano, whistling, and some miscellaneous backwards sounds.
From the original album notes: "A difficult song, about a sad person. If you listen carefully you can hear a chorus of whistling underneath the guitar solo at the end. This song never quite turned out in my view, but I've put too much time into trying - so it stays."
